GENERAL SCHOOL BUDGET VOTING INFORMATION

On the third Tuesday in May, residents from across New York State go to the polls to vote on the annual school district budget and to elect members of the Board of Education. We encourage all district residents to exercise their right to vote.

In early May, Johnsburg residents will receive a copy of the district's budget newsletter in the mail. If you do not receive a copy of the newsletter, please contact the district office at (518) 251-2921 and request that a newsletter be mailed to you. It will also be posted on the district website. 

Voter Eligibility 

• A resident of the district for at least thirty days before the vote 
• A United States citizen
• Eighteen (18) years of age or older 

Absentee Ballots
Absentee Ballots are available to eligible voters who are unable to vote in person. Call (518) 251-2921 for information on obtaining a ballot.
