Dear Families,

Today, April 27, 2021, the district learned that an individual from the Johnsburg Central School District tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was last in the building on April 16, 2021.

Due to the fact that the student was not in the building since April 16, there is no need for contact tracing in school, and therefore we will have school tomorrow.  

Please note that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

According to guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the CDC, the district continues to thoroughly clean and disinfect all buildings on campus.
