Positive COVID 19 Case 10/7/21
October 7, 2021
Dear Families,
Today, October 7, 2021, the District learned a student from Johnsburg Central School tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was last in the building on September 20th, 2021.
Due to the fact that the student has not been in the building since September 20th, there is no need for contact tracing in school.
Please note that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.
According to guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the CDC, the district continues to thoroughly clean and disinfect all buildings on campus.
Please contact Mrs. Flanagan or me directly if you would like more information about our health and safety procedures. Any additional questions, including information about testing procedures, can be directed to Warren County Public Health (518) 761-6580.
Sincerely,
Michael J. Markwica
Superintendent of Schools
