Dear Families,

Today, October 20, 2021, the district learned that an individual from the Johnsburg Central School District tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was last in the building on October 15, 2021.  They also participated in Elementary soccer on Saturday, October 16, 2021, where they rode the bus to Lake George.

The County has finished its contact tracing and has decided which students will quarantine.  Students and families quarantined will be notified.

According to guidance from the New York State Department of Health and the CDC, the district thoroughly cleans and disinfects all campus buildings.

Please contact Mrs. Flanagan or me directly if you would like more information about our health and safety procedures. Any additional questions, including information about testing procedures, can be directed to Warren County Public Health (518) 761-6580.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Markwica
