My name is Jennifer Glode. I am a certified teaching assistant. I grew up in Johnsburg and graduated high school in 1988. I attended Southern Adirondack Educational Center for Electronic Information Word Processing and took courses at SUNY Adirondack and Russell Sage College. I obtained certification as a child care technician at St. Margaret's Center for Children in Albany and completed certification criteria for a Professional Certified Teaching Assistant at Prospect Child and Family Center. I am a Girl Scout Leader for the Adirondack Council. My daily routine as a teaching assistant includes AIS, ARL, and RIT in all high school and elementary subjects. I work with students in the elementary and high school special education resource rooms and also work with kindergarten and first grade students in work centers. I am a test reader, lunch monitor, work 1-1 with students, and I have afternoon bus duty each day. I work with students in the classrooms with Independent Reading time and run the community Pre-school Story Hour each week. |
